Cultura em Condeixa - Estágio na Câmara Municipal de Condeixa-a-Nova

Abstract

The following paper presents the internship report related to the master’s degree in Municipal Cultural Policy by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra, developed between October 2019 and March 2020 at the City Hall of Condeixa-a-Nova. This curricular internship had as a plan the intern getting acquainted with the functioning of this City Hall’s cultural reality, particularly the work of the respective services. Thus I had the possibly to acknowledge the working methods of this City Hall’s four cultural bodies – Municipal Library Eng. Jorge Bento, House Museum Fernando Namora, Gallery Manuel Filipe and PO.RO.S – Museum Portugal Romano em Sicó – knowing them, following their daily work and collaborating in some activities. Supervised by Cláudia Ferreira, worker at PO.RO.S, the internship aimed to follow closely the cultural life at a municipal level and to understand how it unfolds, as well as to conceive, propose and prepare projects as part of the search for the Municipal Cultural Policy intern’s competence acquisition in conception and execution of cultural events. Therefore, the present work has a historical and present contextualization of Condeixa-a-Nova, focusing then on the municipal cultural bodies and this sector’s non-municipal associations and institutions. Afterwards I will report the activities I had the opportunity to follow and collaborate during the internship and, finally, I will present the project dossiers related to the cultural realizations I have prepared, though not realized due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Este documento apresenta o relatório de estágio curricular correspondente ao Mestrado em Política Cultural Autárquica da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Coimbra, realizado entre outubro de 2019 e março de 2020 na Câmara Municipal de Condeixa-a-Nova. O plano deste estágio curricular foi realizar um acompanhamento da realidade cultural do município de Condeixa-a-Nova, especificamente na atuação dos respetivos serviços. Assim, tive a oportunidade de me inteirar do modo de funcionamento dos quatro órgãos de cultura do referido município – Biblioteca Municipal Eng. Jorge Bento, Casa Museu Fernando Namora, Galeria Manuel Filipe e PO.RO.S – Museu Portugal Romano em Sicó –, conhecendo-os, seguindo os seus trabalhos e colaborando em algumas atividades. Supervisionado pela Doutora Cláudia Ferreira, técnica superior no PO.RO.S, o objetivo traçado foi acompanhar de perto a vida cultural ao nível autárquico e compreender como esta se desenrola, tal como conceber, propor e delinear projetos no âmbito da procura pela aquisição de competências de conceção e execução de eventos culturais do estagiário em Política Cultural Autárquica. Deste modo, o presente trabalho faz uma contextualização histórica e atual do concelho e do município de Condeixa-a-Nova, focando-se posteriormente nos órgãos municipais de cultura e nas associações e instituições extra-municipais deste setor. Seguidamente reportarei aquilo que foi o meu acompanhamento de atividades destes órgãos ao longo do estágio e, finalmente, apresentarei os dossiês de projeto relativos às realizações culturais que preparei, infelizmente não realizadas devido à pandemia pela COVID-19.
